이 논문의 목적은 부정적으로 채색된 여성관련 본문을 새롭게 해석하여 여성 지도자 중심으로 활성화되었던 초기 교회의 여성 리더십을 회복해야 함을 분석하는데 있다. 먼저 여성이 절반을 차지하고 있는 한국교회에 여성지도자가 거의 없다는 심각성을 진단한다. 교회의 리더십 비율은 여성과 남성의 심한 불균형을 뚜렷이 보여주고 있다. 차별과 불평등을 없애신 그리스도의 뜻을 따라야 하는 교회가 오히려 사회보다 역행하고 있는 것은 무슨 이유일까? 이 글은 성서에 대한 새로운 해석학적 패러다임, 특히 여성에 관한 본문들을 새롭게 해석함으로써 성서 해석의 변화와 삶의 변화를 이끌어 내려는 것이다. 먼저 성서해석의 신학적 전통에서 간과했던 부분들을 새로이 조명할 것이다. 하나님의 창조 원리대로 남녀 ‘함께 어울림’이 일어날 때, 1세기 초기 교회의 여성 리더십이 회복될 것이다.

This paper aims to analyze the women’s leadership of the early church through the texts of women in the New Testament. There are very few female leaders in the Korean church, where women are more than half. The Christian leadership rate shows clearly a severe imbalance between women and men. Christ is the one who has removed discrimination and inequality. However, why is the church retrogressive than society? This article does not emphasize the characteristics of female theology or criticize traditional theology. Through a new interpretation of the texts about women leads to changes in Bible interpretation and changes in life. First, I will highlight newly the parts that have been misinterpreted in the theological tradition of Bible interpretation. I expect that the leadership of women in the early church of the first century will be restored when men and women make ‘together’ according to God’s creation principle.
