1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study aims at analyzing the feasibility about affordable housing for low income & one or two household to propose the supply measures. This type of housing should be supplied to match the request and affordability of the potential demand and need the construction standard and operating guidelines. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study analyzes the feasibility about housing for low income & one or two household, single-room, dormitory, multi-family houses. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In case that the developer buy the land and build, he has financial burden of purchasing land, construction cost and interest. On the other hand, land owner has relatively higher feasibility than the developer does. To build more this affordable housing in Seoul, regulations about sales size, floor area ratio, number households should be relieved. 2. RESULTS With the basic assumptions of floor area ratio and other regulations in typeⅡgeneral residential zone, the result shows that building affordable housing in both rental and selling aspects has low feasibility.
