1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES For the purpose of advancing habitual investments, in April, 2001, "Law on Real Estate Investment Company" was established and the system, REITs, was introduced. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This applied ways are to examine precedent studies through existing literatures and look into triangular position in Korea and the desirable ways to develop the system. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS This thesis aims at approaching this system on theoretical backgrounds, beginning to recently put into triangular position in Korea, and at discussing the desirable ways to develop the system 2. RESULTS This thesis looked into the transitions and courses of the system which has changed many times till now after introduction in 2001. Afterwards, this thesis analyzed the difference between our system and American system, presented the way to develop Korean system. This thesis looked into the influence and prospect on REITs of "the Law on Investment Markets and Financial Investment Businesses", conducted in 2009.
