이 연구의 목적은 AAAS유전 문항과 라쉬 모델을 활용하여 가형과 나형의 동형의 유전개념검사지를 개발하는 것이다. 이 연구를 위하여 80문항의 AAAS 유전개념검사문항이 번역되었고 445명의 고등학생에게 투입되었다. 많은 문항수의 제한점을 극복하기 위하여 라쉬 모델의 문항연결 방법을 활용하였다. 연구 결과 34문항으로 구성된 가형과 나형의 두 유전개념 검사지가 생성되었다. 두 검사지의 라쉬 점수의 상관관계는 0.71이며, 라쉬 모델 분석 수치가 거의 일치하였다. 이 연구를 통해 생성된 두 형의 유전개념검사도구는 학생들의 유전개념을 확인하거나 유전개념학습프로그램의 효과를 검증하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop two equivalent genetics concept assessments using AAAS genetics concept test items and the Rasch model. To this end, we translated 80 AAAS genetics concept test items and administered them to 445 high school students. Given students’ test fatigue due to the large number of test items, we used the item-linking method of the Rasch model in order to minimize the number of test items. In this study, as findings two equivalent genetics concept assessments were generated. The Pearson correlation coefficient of the test scores of the two equivalent genetics concept assessments were 0.71 (p<<0.001) and the statistics resulting from the Rasch analysis of the two assessments were nearly identical. The two equivalent genetics concept assessments generated by this study can be used to examine students’ understanding of genetics concepts and the efficacy of the learning program for students’ learning of genetics concepts.
