1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to find out if there is any relationship between Chonsei price and Sale price of apartments in Seoul before and after the global Financial Crisis in late 2008. (2) RESEARCH METHOD The Latent Growth Model(LGM) was employed to address the major objectives of this study. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS As a result of analysis, we identified that there is a certain relationship between the Chonsei price and Sale price of apartments in Seoul Metropolitan City even after the global financial crisis hit Korea in 2008. 2. RESULTS We found out that in the case of Chonsei Price set higher than on average led to sharp decline in selling price when the Sale price tended downward after the 2008 Financial Crisis shaked the world and this trend seemed to prevail in Gangnam area rather than in Non-Gangnam area in Seoul.
