Adenomyosis and uterine fibroids are serious problem among women of reproductive age. Therefore, a childbearing women numbers who has fibroids and adenomyosis are increasing. Now, Promethe Medical’s ECHOgFUS solution got CE and China FDA approval. The procedure is completely noninvasive. It is performed as a non-anesthesia outpatient procedure and the patient can resume their normal activities after the following procedure. The procedure is not recommended by doctors to all cases. For example, absolute contraindications include bowel or surgical scar in the path of the ultrasound beam must be considered.
