본 연구는 지역주민 입장에서 지역활성화 측면에서 개발효과를 높일 수 있는 역세권 복합화 개발방향과 도입 프로그램의 중요도 분석을 실시하였다. 분석방법은 역세권 도입기능 및 프로그램에 대해 AHP분석을 실시하여 지역활성화 측면에서 우선적으로 중요한 도입기능과 프로그램에 대해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지역주민들은 지역활성화 측면에서 역세권 복합개발시 물리적 시설측면에서는 상업·업무시설(음식점, 대형할인점, 전문상가, 백화점 등)과 교통기능시설(복합 환승센터, 환승주차장, 보행로 등), 어메니티시설(광장, 공원 등)이 복합되는 것을 가장 중요하다고 판단하였다. 종합적으로 주민관점에서 역세권 복합개발은 본래의 개발취지에 맞게 교통기능 외에 주거 및 상업, 업무기능을 복합하고 소비·문화·여가활동을 할 수 있는 복합공간으로 개발되기를 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 신규개발되는 경우에는 역과 주변지역을 연계하는 통합개발형태로 개발해 우선적으로 기업 및 산업단지, 공공기관 입지를 고려할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

(1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
On this research, researchers carried out analysis on the level of importance of introductory program and complex development directions of the railway station sphere that could enhance the development effects through the stances from locals in terms of vitalizing the local area.
(2) RESEARCH METHOD
As for that method, carried out AHP analysis for this program and introductory functions regarding the station sphere, thereby analyzing programs and functions that are important enough to be prioritized.
(3) RESEARCH FINDINGS
In overall, in terms of the local residents, they hoped it to be developed as a multi functional space that could consolidate consumptions, cultural and leisure activities along with residential, commercial and business activities as well as trans port hub functions. In the case of new developments, it was turned out that there should be considerations for the industrial and public purpose sites as priority, so to link with station and its vicinity.
2. RESULTS
As a result of this analysis, the local residents, in terms of local vitalizations regarding physical, facilities, judged that when carrying out complex development of the railway station sphere, complexing the business on office spaces, mass transit facilities and amenities are the most important. In terms of the multiple functions, it was found out that in order for vitalizing the local economy, attraction of government ministries or other public/government offices, along with the corporate or industrial sites would be the most effective. Finally, in terms of systems, it was concluded that supporting multiple purpose development and its design were equally important.
