The purpose of the current study was to investigate the effects of artistic creativity on job satisfaction and innovation behaviors of hair-care, nails, and make-up workers in occupational beauty service industry. SPSS Ver. 21.0 (IBM, USA) program, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and 3-step multiple regression analysis were performed. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted among a total of 500 beauty salon employees(hair and nail and make-up) in Seoul and the capital region from February 5 to March 31, 2018. Except for 1 poorly answered questionnaires, 499 copies were used for final analysis. Results showed that the artistic creativity of workers working in hairdressing, nail and make-up occupations positively affected their job satisfaction and innovation behavior. Furthermore, in the relationship between artistic creativity and innovation behavior, job satisfaction has a partial mediating effect. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen artistic creativity of the employees in order to satisfy the customers. This will also have a positive impact on the innovation behavior of the employees, which in turn would enable the employees to develop and apply new ideas, and bring job satisfaction.
