Purpose - The objective of this research is to suggest the practical use by the NCS(National Competency Standards) Professional Basic Abilities. Research design, data, and methodology - An experimental design was used by case analysis of General Curriculum in General Education Center at Y College. Result - The results showed that, first, this research is performed to develop the class 'Communication Ability and Interpersonal Ability' and 'Job Ethics and Problem Solving Ability'. Both industry and enrolled students insist that 'communication ability' and 'interpersonal ability' are most important and necessary abilities. Second, Both industry and enrolled students insist that foreign languages and computer practice are necessary class. Third, Y college establish the department of hotel tourism and airline service newly. So general education center make the SMAT(Service Management Ability Test) class to strengthen students' ability of service department. Conclusions - The result offer some insights into the case study of General Curriculum in General Education Center at Y College. The result offer some insights into the General Curriculum based on NCS and contribute to employment competency reinforcement.
