Purpose- In this study, the overall satisfaction level of Gyeongju tourism was compared to the participants' relative importance and satisfaction. The study was conducted through the importance-performance analysis pertaining to the 2016 Gyeongju MICE foreigner participants in order to find out ways to improve the satisfaction of tourists who are visiting Gyeongju city. Design, data, and methodology-The overall satisfaction factors of Gyeongju urban tourism for the 2016 Gyeongju MICE foreign participants were analyzed using a Revised Importance-Performance Analysis. Questionnaires were gathered from 18 events at Gyeongju Hwabaek International Convention Center where the MICE event held. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed from April 16 to November 26 in which 279 using valid samples were analyzed. Result- TAs a result of the Revised IPA analysis: Attractivensess of Gyeongju, Kindness of Employee(Traders), Various Tourism Resources, Historial Culture Resource, Amenities variables are contained in quadrant 1 (Keep Up the Good Work); Nighttime Activity, Communication(Language) variables are contained in quadrant 2(Concentrate Here); Food and Beverage, Relevance of travel cost, Transportation, Shoppin are contained in quadrant 3 ; Kindness of Local people, Safety, Accommodation, Tourism Information, Nature views in quadrant 4. Conclusions- This study is different in the terms that it evaluates the satisfaction of urban tourism within Gyeongju city with respect to foreigners who participated in MICE events held in Gyeongju city. It is also meaningful that it provided implications for improvement and maintenance based on the result of analyzing the satisfaction evaluation concerning urban tourism factors in Gyeongju city.
