This study aimed to examine the fun experiences of the President’s Cup participants from Y University. A total of nine participants were selected from soccer, baseball, and basketball athletes who were currently participating in the intramural league through snow-ball sampling. Data was collected from interviews and the observation of the intramural sports athletes. Coding was conducted as a first step, and group categorization followed. For the validity of the study, a peer review was conducted by one leisure studies professor and two doctoral students of leisure studies. After the data analysis, the motivation for President’s Cup participation, impression changes regarding the President’s Cup, addiction to the President’s Cup, and fun factor of the President’s Cup were drawn as the results. Building interpersonal relationships, improvement of skills, and desire to participate in the event regularly were found as the sub-factors of fun experience concerning the President’s Cup.
