생체모방기술에 대한 중고등 학생들의 관심은 매우 크다. 하지만 생체모방 기술에 관련된 실험의 경우 첨단실험이 많아 학교 현장에서는 직접 실험을 실시하기보다 관련 사진과 동영상으로 학습에 대한 관심을 충족하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 연잎 구조를 이용한 초발수 효과에 대한 첨단 실험을 학교 현장에서도 가능한 형태로 변형한 실험 자료를 개발하였다. 초발수 효과와 관련된 논문과 실제 연구자의 조언을 토대로 개발된 본 실험 과정은 간단한 시약과 실험도구를 이용하여 초발수 효과를 종이나 유리 등에 구현해 볼 수 있다. 또한 단순한 실험 뿐 아니라 탐구실험으로 변형하여 적용할 수 있도록 수업방법을 안내하고 있다. 이 실험 자료로 인해 학생들의 첨단 과학과 생체모방기술에 대한 관심과 흥미가 높아질 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Middle and high school students are interested in biomimetic technology. However experiments related to biomimetic technology require advanced equipment. Therefore, it is difficult to conduct experiments related to biomimicry in general schools. In this study, we developed an experiment related to Superhydrophobic effect in a possible form at school. Experiments were developed on the basis of a paper related to Superhydrophobic effect and the advice of a scientist who study it. This experiment is possible with a simple instruments and can be applied as an inquiry experiment. This materials will increase students' interest in biomimetic technology.
