이 연구의 목적은 중강도 신체활동(moderate to vigorous physical activity, MVPA)에 참여하는 노인들의 생태학적 요인들이 형성하는 상호작용 효과를 분석하는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 지역사회건강조사 원시자료를 이용하였으며, 연구대상은 만 65세 이상 노인이다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 의사결정나무분석을 실시하였다. 나무모양으로 확장시키는 방법은 CHAID(Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection)로 설정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등도 신체활동 참여율이 가장 높은 패턴은 경제활동에 참여하면서 거주지는 읍·면이고, 금연캠페인에 대해서 인지할 때이다. 둘째, 고강도 신체활동 참여율이 가장 높은 패턴은 자전거 운전이 가능하면서 주관적 건강에 대해서 좋게 평가하고, 사회활동(자선단체)에 참여할 때이다. 결론적으로 중강도 신체활동을 참여하는 노인들의 특성을 이해하기 위해서는 생태학적 관점으로 투영하는 것이 효과적이었다. 그리고 중강도 신체활동 참여촉진은 다양한 방송매체를 통한 지속적인 건강관련 정보 전달과 사회적 교류를 강화할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the interaction effects of ecological factors among older adults who participated in moderate to vigorous physical activities(MVPA). This study applied the raw data of community health survey and the subjects were older adults over 65 years of age. For the analysis of data, the SPSS 23.0 program was used for the decision tree analysis and CHAID(Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection) was established to expand to the tree shape. The following are the findings. First, the group with the highest participation in moderate physical activities was participating in economic activities, residing in Eup·Myeon, and aware of the quit smoking campaign. Second, the group with the highest participation in vigorous physical activities was able to ride bicycles, positive about self-rated health, and participating in social activities (volunteer groups). In conclusion, it was effective to reflect the ecological perspective in order to understand the characteristics of older adults participating in MVPA. Also, it is necessary to promote participation in MVPA through consistent communication of health-related information using various broadcasting media and social interaction.
