코퍼스 언어는 문학을 분석하는데 있어 기본적인 자원이다. 이것은 컴퓨터 소프트웨어를 통해 실제 언어 자료를 분석하는 것을 기반으로 한다. 최근에는 코퍼스 언어 분석이 직관적으로 감지 할 수 없는 데이터의 의미와 구조적 특징을 나타내 주기 때문에, 코퍼스 기반의 연구에 중시되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 AntConc3.5.7(mac) 2018 소프트웨어가 Ernest Miller Hemingway의 단편소설 『비를 맞고 있는 고양이』을 분석하기 위해 적용되었다. 『비를 맞고 있는 고양이』의 텍스트 분석에는 두 가지 목표가 있다. 먼저, 코퍼스 용어 색인을 사용하여 텍스트의 단어 빈도를 나열한다. 그런 다음, 녹음 된 단어를 transitivity을 적용하여 분석한다. 문학 분석에서 등장인물과 구성을 빈도와 이행에 따라 분석하는 것이 효과적임이 증명되었다. 이 방법은 교수법에도 적용될 수 있다. 그리고 이는 보다 창의적인 교수 방법과 보다 질 좋은 교수법을 가능하게 한다. 전통적인 교육과 코퍼스의 결합을 사용함으로써 교사는 학생들에게 문학을 보다 쉽게 접근 할 수 있는 과목으로 만들어 주고, 궁극적으로 학생의 이해력과 문해력을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Corpus linguistics is a fundamental resource in analyzing literature. It is based on analyzing actual linguistic materials through the computer software. Recently, there has been a significant emphasis on studies based on the corpus, because corpus linguistic analyses reveal meanings and structural features of data, which cannot be detected intuitively. In this paper, AntConc3.5.7 (mac) 2018 software was applied to analyze Ernest Miller Hemingway’s short story of Cat in the Rain. There are two aims in the text analysis of Cat in the Rain. Firstly, corpus concordance is used to list the frequency of words in the text. Then, transitivity is applied to analyze the recorded words. Analyzing the characters and the plot by frequency and transitivity is proven effective in literature analysis. This method can also be applied to teaching, and it allows a more creative method of teaching and better quality of teaching. By using the combination of traditional education and corpus, teachers could make literature a more accessible subject for students and, ultimately, improve student comprehension and literacy level.
