본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 특히 빅데이터와 블록체인 관점에서 산업수요에 실질적으로 대응할 수 있는 회계전문가 양성을 위한 회계교육방향과 회계교육과정을 제시하여보았다. 빅데이터 시대 회계전문가들은 과거 전통적인 회계 영역에서 벗어나 데이터 활용능력과 분석적 능력을 갖춘 데이터 해석 및 분석가 역할을 수행해야 한다. 블록체인 기반 회계 시스템에서는 회계 전문지식뿐만 아니라 정보통신기술 역량과 데이터를 분석할 수 있는 데이터 분석 및 데이터베이스 기술 역량을 소유한 통섭형 회계전문가를 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 통섭형 회계전문가 양성을 위한 회계교육으로 전공지식 역량, 분석적 및 데이터베이스 기술 역량, 정보통신기술 역량 교육의 필요성을 제시하며 이러한 역량을 배양하기 위해 기존 회계교육과정에서 새로운 학위 프로그램 도입을 제시한다. 예를 들면 융합대학원 또는 기존 과정에서 데이터 분석과 정보통신기술을 융합한 과정을 운용하는 회계교육과정을 개선안으로 제시해본다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 전통적인 회계사의 역할에서 정보통신기술 전문가, 데이터 과학자 및 경영자들과 함께 일해야 하는 통섭형 회계전문가 양성 방안을 강구해야 한다는 점을 시사한다.

This paper proposes that an accounting education and accounting curriculum should be facilitated to prepare accounting professionals with skills related to the fourth industrial revolution in terms of Big Data and BlockChain software. The role of traditional accounting profession should be transferred to the data analytics and interpreter in the era of Big Data. In addition, the future of accounting profession should work with Information & Communication Technology(ICT) specialist, data scientist and management in the era of BlockChain accounting information system. In other words, new professional hybrids role will be emerged in response to the fourth industrial revolution, thereby suggesting that the existing accounting education should encompass data analytics and database skills, ICT literacy as well as domain knowledge. Therefore, the existing accounting curriculum should be reviewed and adapted to ensure relevance and new curriculum and degree program like graduate school of accounting & business analytics. An integrated curriculum is recommended to embed data analytics and ICT topic into the existing curriculum in the accounting program as well. This paper is to provide an accounting educator some insight to seek for the relevant accounting curriculum to prepare for the future of accounting profession working with ICT specialist, data scientist and management in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.
