The new Gwanghwamun plate, which was newly produced in 2010, is based on the white background color and the black lettering plate. Since then, the Gwanghwamun museum in 2016, ) Were found. Currently, photographs that can identify the characteristics of the Gwanghwamun plate are collected at the National Museum of Korea, the University of Tokyo, and the Smithsonian Museum. Although the fonts in the photographs are presumed to be the same typeface, there is a difference between the color of the plate and the background color. Therefore, the necessity of research to grasp the original background color and color of Gwanghwamun plate was raised by scientific analysis of the photographs collected at the National Museum of Korea, the University of Tokyo, and the Smithsonian Museum. This study was carried out to understand the original background concentration and character concentration in the Gwanghwamun plate by comparing the result of the miniature capture of the plate of Gwanghwamun in the same environment as that of the time.
