A Study on the Lyrics and Melodies: Focused on the Nuri Curriculum Guide Books for Teachers of 3~5 Year Old Children

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between lyrics and melodies, focusing on the Nuri Process Songs of 3∼5 year old children. The subjects of this study were 89 musical pieces excluding the duplication of traditional songs, folk songs, translation songs. Based on the research tool analyzing the relationship between lyrics and melodies, we analyzed 10 sub – factors. According to the study, in an analysis of words in lyrics, the words of the lyrics and rhythms were expressed most frequently along with the dynamics of the words and rhythms, and in a musical analysis, the syllables in lyrics caused the most differences in melody. These findings are intended to provide guidance to teachers and toddlers in the future, to better understand the difficulties of infants and children in nursery schools, and provide information for effective teaching methods.
