본 연구는 ‘질적 연구 방법론’ 강좌의 수강생이 내러티브적으로 학생들과 관계를 맺고서 변화하고 성장하는 내러티브를 다룬다. 2015년 1학기 J교대의 대학원 ‘질적 연구 방법론’ 강좌는 내러티브 탐구 방법에 근거하여 운영되었으며, 이 강좌에 수강한 김교사는 교직3년 경력 초임교사로서 ‘김치를 버리는 아이’ 민주를 만나게 되고 내러티브로 사고하기를 통해 변화를 경험한다. 그 아이로 인해 분노와 좌절감을 경험한 김교사는 여러 다양한 문제아를 만나 왔으며, ‘김치를 버리는 아이’ 역시 여러 문제아들 중에 하나로 경험되었다. 그러나 김교사는 민주의 행동을 관찰하고 내러티브적으로 관계를 맺으면서 자신을 반성하게 되고 변화하게 된다. 이로써 이 연구는 인간의 경험을 탐구하는 ‘질적 연구 방법’ 강좌를 내러티브적으로 운영함으로써 수강생이 효과적으로 질적 연구적인 안목을 갖고서 교사의 삶을 살아가도록 도와줌을 보여줄 수 있다.

This study covers narrative of change and growth of a teacher who took the 'Qualitative Research Methodology' course and has relations with students narratively. The 'Qualitative Research Methodology' course of J University of Education during the first semester of 2015 was operated based on the narrative research method. Kim, a teacher with three year experience who took this course, came to Minju, a child who throws away kimchi, and experienced change by thinking narratively. Kim, who experienced anger and frustration because of the child, has met various types of problem children and 'the child who throws away kimchi' was one of them to the teacher. However, Kim reflected on himself and changed herself while observing Minju's behaviors and having relation narratively. This study can prove that the narrative operation of 'Qualitative Research Methodology' course that researches human experiences helps teachers to conduct teachers' lives by having qualitative research perspectives.
