이 글에서는 최근 서울·경기·강원 지역에서 조사된 백제 한성기 도성 관련 유적들과 원삼국~백제 시대 지방 거점 취락에 대한 주요 조사 성과와 의미 등을 살펴보고 연구 과제와 전망을 제시해 보았다. 풍납토성에서는 동벽 외곽의 해자 발굴조사를 통해 성벽의 증축·확장 과정을 확인하였고, 서벽의 문지 발굴을 통해 진전된 도성 구조 연구의 단서를 확보할 수 있었다. 몽촌토성의 북문지 인근 지역 재발굴 조사 결과 백제시대의 도로와 집수시설을 확인함으로써 당시 중요한 궁성 역할을 하였을 가능성을 높여 주었다. 석촌동 고분군의 발굴에서는 적석총의 기단석으로 추정되는 석렬들이 연접해 나가는 양상을 확인하였고, 방이동 3호분 석실 내부 조사 결과 석실의 구조와 축조 방식을 밝혀 내었다. 또한 인접한 하남 감일동 백제 횡혈식석실묘와의 비교를 통해 백제 한성기의 왕릉과 귀족묘에 대한 연구가 가능할 것으로 생각된다. 도성 주변의 양평 양수리유적과 광주 곤지암 유적에서는 원삼국~백제 단계의 주거지가 다수 발굴되어 이 시기 지방 중심 취락에 대한 일면을 엿볼 수 있게 되었다. 또한 강원 영서지역을 대표하는 춘천 우두동 취락의 발굴을 통해 당시의 생활과 생산, 매장 양상 등을 종합적으로 밝혀내는 계기가 되었다. 향후 이 지역에서 백제 한성기 도성 유적과 지방 거점 취락 및 분묘 유적들이 다수 발굴되어 백제의 형성 및 발전 과정을 밝혀낼 수 있기를 기대한다.

I have reviewed recent important survey results and implications of Baekje Hanseong Period in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon area about capital sites and local stronghold villages, and presented its assessment and vision. In the Pungnaptoseong, we confirmed the process of expansion of the wall through excavation of the eastern wall moat, and it was able to take clues to the study on the advanced structure through the excavation of the western wall gate. As a result of the re-excavation survey of the area around northen gate of Mongchontoseng, it confirmed the possibility of palace to play an important role at the time by excavating the roads and water storage facilities. In the excavation of the tomb of Seokchon-dong, we have confirmed the connected stairs of stone graves. And as a result of the investigation inside the chamber of Bangyi-dong tomb No. 3, the structure and construction techniques were revealed. In addition, it is thought that further investigation on the royal tombs and the noble graves of Baekje Hanseong period can be done through comparison with the neighboring Hanam Gamil-dong stone chamber tombs. In the Yangsu-ri site in Yangpyeong and Gonjiam site in Gwangju around the capital, the settlements of the proto three kingdoms and Baekje stage were unearthed, giving a glimpse the aspects of the local center village. And through the excavation of the village of Woodu-dong in Chuncheon, which represents the Yeongseo area of Gangwon province, it became an opportunity to comprehensively reveal the life, production and burial aspects of the time. In the future, it is expected that a large number of capital sites of Baekje Hanseong Period and local stronghold settlements and burials will be unearthed to study the formation and development process of Baekje.
