Organic battery system holds a great potential in next generation energy storage system due to its sustainability and chemical tunability. Prior to develop its performance, understanding of exact energy storage mechanism should be arranged. Organic electrode materials were understood as a monomer based redox reaction, however, in this research, electrolytes and crystal effect on redox behaviors are analyzed. As a result, in coin cell system, crystal structure of organic electrode materials should be considered and its redox behavior is also affected by electrolyte types. This work suggests a guidance for the more exact energy storage mechanism of organic battery system, and additional factor analysis affecting to organic battery performance.
