To understand the relationship between packing structures and the solid-state luminescence, we synthesized a new luminogen (CBL) which have aggregation-induced emission property. From the microscopic methods with thermal and scattering ones, it was realized that the packing structures of luminogens are concerned with the emission color and intensity.
