Particulate matter (PM) pollution is serious human health issue. Recently, electrospun nanofiber filters have received much attention due to its outstanding transparency and high efficiency for PM≤2.5μm (PM2.5) capture/removal compared to commercial micro-structured filters. Although these conventional filters provide high-efficiency PM2.5 capture, obtaining strong PM adhesion via surface engineering remains a challenge. In this study, we demonstrate a high efficiency PM2.5 capture air-filter using electrospun polymer nanofibers with surface modification.
