본 연구는 공인회계사 시험제도의 개선방안을 연구하고자 현재의 공인회계사 시험준비과정 내에서 학원, 인터넷강의, 학교수업의 영향력을 탐색하고, 공인회계사 시험의 적절성에 대하여 전반적인 문제점, 학점이수제도, 영어시험, 시험의 응시과목에 관한 설문조사를 하였다. 마지막으로 공인회계사시험의 1차시험 합격에 대한 별도 자격부여, 2차 시험 간소화와 3차 인증시험제도를 통한 개선방안을 제시하여 이에 대한 의견을 설문하였다. 설문대상자는 크게는 학원수강생(비합격자), 최근3개년 합격자의 2개 집단이며 학원수강생은 1차시험 준비생과 2차시험 준비생을 별도로 구분하여 작게는 3개의 집단으로 나뉘게 된다. 설문조사에서는 2개 집단에서 모두 351부의 설문지가 배포되었으며, 회수된 설문지 340부 중 336부가 연구결과 분석에 사용되었다. 설문조사에서 나타난 결과를 요약하면, 사교육 의존도가 매우 높은 상황에서 응답자들도 이에 대한 문제점을 인식하고 있었다. 이에 따라 시험의 난이도나 과목에 대한 고민이 필요하며 본 연구에서 제시한 1차시험 합격자에 대한 별도의 자격 부여 방안 등의 고려도 이를 완화할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the private institution, internet lecture, and school lesson in the CPA exam preparation course and the improvement plan of the CPA exam system. We conducted a survey on the adequacy of the CPA exam in terms of overall problems, credit completion system, English test system, and examination subjects. Finally, we asked for opinions on the improvement of the CPA exam by providing additional qualification for passing the first exam, simplifying the second exam and applying the third certification examination system. The subjects of the questionnaire are divided into two groups of test takers and associate CPAs. In the questionnaire, 351 questionnaires were distributed in both groups, and 336 of the collected questionnaires were used in the analysis of the study results. To summarize the results of the questionnaire, respondents were aware of the problem private tutoring was very high. Therefore, it is necessary to research the difficulty of the test and the exam subjects, and it is confirmed that considering the possibility of granting the qualification for the first test passed in this exam can be an alternative to alleviate the related problems.
