Reading skill is very essential for foreigners in Thai language learning process as it is a mean to improve pronunciation and to expand their vocabularies. The learners can apply what they have gamed from reading to broaden their knowledge and to learn more about Thai language and culture. Teaching Thai reading for foreign students is the key process that will lead to the integrated learning of the 4 essential skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as a means to increase their experience and broaden the students' circle of vocabulary, which will eventually enable them continue their study to the level that they can use Thai language so efficiently as if it were their first language.
