This article is aimed to investigate the syntactic and semantic properties of 2 intensive verbs in Thai, ‘pen’ and ‘khue’. It can be concluded that ‘khue’ is the equative identifying intensive verb, and there are 3 homonyms : ‘pen’(l) : the non-equative identifying intensive verb, ‘pen’(2) : the attributive intensive verb, and ‘pen’(3) : the comparative intensive verb.
