In this article, I tried to investigate the reason why the utilization of literary quotation, which is a typical feature of the Qi Liang period poetry, is still indicated from Chen Zi’yang and tried to consider the features and functions of its utilization. For this reason, firstly, I investigated the meaning, value, and role of the literary quotation centered on Liu Xie’s Wenxin diaoLong. Unlike Zong Long, who had a negative perception of literary quotation itself, Liu Xie tried to correct and chang the brilliant poetry style at that time, by talking about the conditions, methods and utility of literary quotation. Chen Zi’yang accepted Liu Xie’s idea for literary quotation, and tried to actively utilize it based on the conditions and method presented by him, and to achieve its utility. “Ganyu” poems At the number of 38, the literary quotation appears over almost every time, but the origin comes from the Confucians’ classical works such as “Lunyu”, “Shijing”, Not only historical documents such as “Shiji”, “Hanshu” but also curious documents such as “Huainanzi”, “Guiguzi” etc. are all inclusive. This accepts the view of LiuXie that emphasized “learned academic knowledge” at the brave warrior, and can be a result that reflects actively in the creation of the actual work. Chen Zi’yang’s literary quotation is not limited to just knowledge, but utilizing historical cases and people according to subjects clearly revealed the theme of the poems. Likewise, by describing only its core content in method of utilization, realized what Liu Xie emphasized “condensed statement” this request through actual creation. Therefore, Liu Xie’s theory of literary quotation is not only realized by Chen Cheng but can be said that it has developed one more step.
