This study was conducted to investigate the paddy rice growth response of the irrigation water salinity at the vegetative growth periods by the pot experiments. Young paddy rice plants were transplanted at the 1/5000a Wagner's pots and cultivated for four weeks. Supplied irrigation waters were controlled with sea salt as five levels; control(tab-water), 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000 mg/L, respectively. A randomized block design was used with four replicates for each treatment and control. As increasing salinity, shoot and root length, tiller number, and dry weight of paddy rice plant tended to decrease.
