본 논문은 두보의 일생에서 시 창작의 중요한 계기이자 내용에 관계되는 사람에 주목하였다. 두보와 그의 시에 대하여 역대로 국내외에 걸쳐 많은 연구가 있었다. 시풍에 관한 연구, 형식, 사상에 관한 연구가 전통적으로 많았으며 최근에는 두보가 유랑했던 四川, 秦州, 山東등의 각 지역 풍물과 그 반영에도 관심을 가지는 연구가 늘어났다. 필자는 최근 두보의 시에서 매우 중요한 요소로서 그가 만난 사람에 주목하게 되었다. 그리고 그 가운데 상급자와 친족(가족)을 제외한 사람들, 즉 시인 두보와 적정 거리를 유지하고 있는 사람들이 중요한 창작의 계기가 될 뿐 아니라, 그들과의 적정한 심리적 거리가 두보의 사실적이면서도 깊은 정감을 전달하는 시풍을 만들어낸다고 보았다. 본 논문에서는 심리적 거리에 따라 크게 두 가지 유형으로 나누어 분석하였으며 구체적으로 일상적 청탁, 기쁨의 칭송, 아쉬운 송별, 우연한 조우로 나누어 살펴보았다. 이러한 시도는 두보의 시를 거시적 각도에서 조망하는 하나의 방법론으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This article focused on the people around Dufu who played a role as an occasion of writing poems and are related to their contents. There has been so many studies about Dufu and his poems home and abroad, especially about his style of poetry, forms of his poems, and also about his thought. Currently, there has been increased studies about regions Dufu has traveled, such as 四川, 秦州, 山東and about own scenery of the regions had reflection of it in poems. I started to focus on his people as important factors of his poems, and I also think that the people except his superiors and families, especially who kept some proper mental distance from Dufu are key elements of creating poems and that 'proper mental distance' creates his realistic but deeply emotional style of poetry. In this article I analyzed the people as two categories by the mental distance between them and Dufu, and in detail, for daily asking, joyful admire, a sad farewell, accidental meeting. This kind of try may serve as methodology to take a macroscopic view of poems of Dufu.
