The purpose of this study is to discuss how personal experience in dance is subjectivized through the body from the Somatics perspective and aims to reveal the meaning of dance today. For this purpose, I will focus on Eun-Me Ahn's 「Body Series」 through the research on "Koreans Body and Dance".
From the Somatics perspective, dancers (grandmothers, teenagers, middle age men) listened to their own inner voice and expressed their subject through the body (through experience).
Their bodies, which are revealed through acts, represent a culture and reveal their subject and identity. This body contains the past and represents each history in motion.
