Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus(LSA) is chronic skin disorder that usually affects groin area. It shows whitish thickened patches and it may cause irritation, or extremely itching sensation. It is more prevalent in women than men. A 82-year-old female patient visited gynecologic department of our clinic and complained of itchy and pricky slightly atrophic erythematous ulcerative patches with nodule on Lt. labium minora, found 5 years prior to the visit. Skin punch biopsy was done on the nodular lesion and histopathologic review showed that it was consistent with fibroepithelial polyp. Then the patient referred to our dermatologic clinic about whitish ulcerative lesion of vulva. Additional skin punch biopsy was performed and the result showed that the tissue was consistent with LSA. The lesion was treated with topical emollient, topical steroid, and topical calcineurin inhibitors and lesion healed after 4 weeks of treatment, but continuously had stinging sensation. There was no domestic report of LSA with concurrent fibroepithelial polyp. There also was no report of relationship between LSA and fibroepithelial polyp. Herein we report a rare case of fibroepithelial polyp on LSA lesion of vulva.
