本稿では、日本のまち步き觀光において先驅的かつ最大な事例である「長崎さるく」の10年間の變化を事例に、まち步き觀光の途中で見られるガイドと參加者、參加者同士のやりとりに着目しながら、從來の觀光における二項對立的なホストとゲストの關係性を超え、兩者の對話を通じてまち步き觀光の場が生み出されていることを實證的に考察した。長崎さるくの10年間においては、住民の生活の營みが見えていた初期のまち步き觀光から、次第に新しい觀光名所を中心とした觀光客向けの商品として變化している。一方で、まち步き觀光の樂しみ方を共有した長崎市民の參加による常連が形成されてもいる。常連の參加者はガイドや他の參加者と對話的な關係性を持ちながら、主體的に參加し、長崎さるくはホストとゲスト雙方において、他者との出會いと相互作用を樂しむ場としても機能していることが分かった。そのなかでホストとゲストは信賴關係を構築し、共にまち步き觀光の場を作り上げる共同的な關係性に發展していた。そういった兩者の主體的で對話的な關係性の構築は、長崎さるくの持續性にも繫がっているといえる。

This paper aims to empirically clarify the process which locals create the spaces of interaction in town walking tour, focusing on dialogue between hosts and guests, through a case study of a decade in Nagasaki Saruku. Nagasaki Saruku is known for being a pioneer and the most prominent example in town walking tours. The locals have witnessed many changes in the system, relationships, and experiences over 10 years. This paper discusses whether dialogue is occurring between hosts and guests and how that situation develops, through the perspective of reciprocity and dialogue to promote enjoyable encounters with others and self-transformation within hosts and guests. However, as time passed, Nagasaki Saruku systemized their tourist operations and emphasis was put on the economic effects. As a result, there was a misalignment of dialogue between the hosts and guests. On the other hand, some locals have participated in Nagasaki Saruku repeatedly, and they are sharing how to involve in town walking tour. The guide plays the role of a planner who creates a chance to simultaneously walk and exchange words with local people while involving hosts and guests. It shows that Nagasaki Saruku is to be built up though the subjective involvement of hosts and guests and the dialogue born at that time gives meaning to the characteristics of Nagasaki Saruku. The spontaneous participation of local people would be the driving force in this development.
