As the spatial foundation of day to day life, the city must function seamlessly as a place with meaning. To make a beautiful and compelling space, the entire process of the city space, more than anything, must be designed to work organically. As a supplementary part of the city's space, an underpass adds to the image of the city by representing functionality and connectivity within the city and operates as a space supporting functional livelihoods. In this aspect, the environmental factors of an underpass enhances the qualitative assessment of the city and when functioning as a corrective infrastructure and landscape environment, the underpass has been designed as a complement to the city's environment. This study has observed the advantages of spatial design and its concept and public nature and suggests an index of evaluation as a guideline for the application of design within an underpass. By being a part of the planning for underpass improvement services, this study analyzes the industry's direction and purpose and corresponds with a detailed index of public space and infrastructure. If It is believed to be a sustainable improvement project that will raise the value of the city brand.
