촉각체험은 아동의 호기심과 상상력을 유발하여 적극적인 참여를 이룰수 있을 뿐 아니라 시각에 치우친 조형교육의 편중성을 보완하여 새로운 감각적 경험과 창조적 가능성으로 이끌어준다. 따라서 적절한 촉각체험은 아동의 잠재력을 개발시킬 수 있고 지각발달에 중요한 영향을 끼칠 수 있다.
그럼에도 불구하고 촉각 중심의 조형 활동을 연구의 대상으로 삼은 경우는 매우 제한적이다. 본 연구는 촉각중심의 조형탐구 및 창작 프로젝트 사례집인 CHILDREN, ART, ARTISTS의 분석을 통해 선행연구를 통해 도출된 조형교육 가이드라인을 바탕으로 연구자의 경험과 자료를 활용하여 현장에서 바로 적용할 수 있는 실행 아이디어를 도출, 정리하고 이를 바탕으로 아동화예디자인교육 프로그램의 개발을 실행한 연구 보고이다. 구체적으로는 선행연구에서 제시한 278개의 가이드라인으로부터 총 768개에 달하는 실행아이디어를 도출하였고 이를 코드화시켜 15차시에 해당하는 아동 화예조형교육 프로그램 개발에 적용, 이 가운데 7차시에 해당하는 사례를 예시하였다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 체계적 절차를 거쳐 도출된 가이드라인을 활용하여 새로운 아이디어를 도출한 창의적 연구로서, 절차상의 학문적 치밀성을 추구하기보다 새로운 가능성을 탐구하는데 중점을 둔 연구이다. 본 연구는 체계적 방법의 정립이 요구되는 화예조형교육방법의 개발에 또 다른 새로운 교육적 가능성을 제시한 연구라는 점에서 본 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있겠다.
The tactile sensation experience evoke interest and imagination of children, which leads to active participation of program as well as gets to the new sensative experience and creative possibilities by balancing the overvaluation of visual sensation. Therefore appropriate tactile sensation experiences are very important to cultivate children’s potentials and for the development. However it is found that the researches on development of children related with te tactile sensation experiences are very limited. This research is about inducing the ideas and developing art educational program for children using guidelines developed by preceding research of analysis of the book ‘Children, Art, Artist’ which reports the cases of art creation session based on tactile sensation experiences. The researcher induced and coded 768 ideas to be applied for creating art program utilizing floral material and creation and also developed the program of 15 sessions utilizing those guidelines, of which only 7 session were reported in this paper due to limited space for the article. As this research is a creative trial based on guideline induced methodically, it focuses on developing new possibility slightly sacrificing academic precision. The importance of this research lies on the search for the new possibilities on art education utilizin floral material and structuring.
