A variety of addictions are now spreading to become more common as a phenomenon of social pathology in Korean society. There are various kinds of addictions such as drugs, lifestyle, religion, face lifting, hastiness, sex and love, gambling, lottery ticket and horse racing, Internet Cyber, and telephone. It is too serious to think this easily as a periodic phenomenon. Accordingly, this thesis made inquiries about a close examination into character and cause, diagnostic standard, prevention and measure of addictions.
