The Purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the ARCS model to the class environment in Social Studies Education. The subjects for this study consisted of two 4th grade social studies classes from a selected primary school in Kyeonggido, to prove the effects of the ARCS model. Each class (42, 42) was randomly assigned to experimental and control treatments. All outcomes wore pre-and posttested. The results of data analysis by t-test, it is proved that the ARCS model effect than control group on class environment in social studies education.
