This study begins with problematic that evaluation in lifelong education differs from that in schooling. Bringing into view the disparity between the two different field, this study purposes to suggest the implications for lifelong education. For the purpose, this study narrows down the extent of lifelong education, and focuses on teachers' inservice education, which shows the feature of nonformal education. This study presents findings as follows.
First, it suggests an evaluation model appropriate for lifelong education, especially examining teachers' inservice education.
Second, it discusses methodological foundation to validate the evaluation model in lifelong education.
Third, discussing about the way that evaluation functions in nonformal education like lifelong education, it presents educational implications for the field of lifelong education.
