본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 지금까지 이루어진 프로티언 커리어 관련 연구를 분석, 종합하여, 프로티언 커리어 관련 연구의 흐름과 성과를 정리하고 앞으로의 연구방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 프로티언 커리어와 관련하여 2010년부터 2017년까지 26편의 학술지와 53편의 학위논문이 발표되었다. 프로티언 커리어를 주제로 한 79편의 학술지 및 학위논문을 대상으로 발행연도별, 연구주제별, 연구대상별, 연구방법별 동향을 살펴 보았다. 각 항목에서 주관적 성공을 포함한 경력결과와 관련된 연구가 49.4%, 사무직 종사자 대상 연구가 50.6%, 양적 연구가 98.8%였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 프로티언 커리어 관련 연구의 연구 가능성과 방향 등에 대해 살펴보았고 새로운 경력 대안으로서의 프로티언 커리어 관련 논의를 진로상담 실무에 적용하는데 대한 논의가 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of the current protean career in Korea, 26 journals and 53 papers were published from 2010 to 2017 in relation to the protean career. This study examined trends of 79 academic journals and theses on the theme of protean career based on the year of publication, research themes, research subjects, and research methods. In each item, 49.4% were related to career outcomes including subjective success, 50.6% were related to office workers, and 98.8% were quantitative. Based on these results, we examined the possibility and direction of the research on the research of the protean career, and the discussion on the application of the protean careers as a new career alternative to the career counseling practice was suggested.
