본 연구는 무용전공대학생의 성격 5요인이 무용중독성향에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 서울 및 경기지역 소재 3개 대학의 무용과에 재학 중인 남·여 학생 350명을 대상으로 현장조사를 실시하였다. 총 327부를 분석에 사용하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 목적에 따라 기술통계분석, 적률상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 분석방법으로 검증한 결과 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성격 5요인과 무용중독성향 간에 관계규명을 위해 상관관계분석을 실시한 결과 성격 5요인(신경증, 외향성, 개방성, 친화성, 성실성)과 무용중독성향(감정적 애착, 무용욕구, 심리위축, 부적 대인관계)간에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성격 5요인이 무용중독성향에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 외향성과 개방성은 감정적 애착에 정적 영향, 외향성과 성실성은 무용욕구에 정적 영향, 외향성과 개방성은 심리위축에 정적 영향, 신경증과 외향성 그리고 개방성은 부적 대인관계에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 추후 무용전공자를 위한 척도개발과 긍정적인 무용중독성향을 증진시킬 수 있는 무용교육 개발 및 연구가 요구된다.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of 5 personality traits of university students majoring in dance to dance addiction tendency. I performed website survey targeting 350 students majoring in dance of three universities. I used total 327 copies in analysis and collected data was performed as descriptivestatistics analysis, Pearson's ranalysis, multiple regression analysis according to purpose by using SPSS 23.0 program. From the result of verification with this analysis method, the conclusion of this research is as follows. First, it was proved that there is statistically significant positive correlation between 5 personality traits and dance addiction tendency. Second, Five major factors in college students ' academic aptitude are partly attributable to the effects of dance addiction. It is requested to develop criterion for dance majoring university students and develop research dance education which can improve positive dance addiction tendency.
