Yook Jungrim built unique world of creation by showing the spirit of artiste using body holding up a sickle with her white clothes blood-stained red at the time of national dark period. She gives a strong message to yonger dance students as a great artiste who achieved a national, Korean creative dance in her age. She brought great achievement in the Honam dance circles, as a dancer who lived from the Japanese Colonial Period to Liberation, to the Reviatlizing Reform Period, and to Industrial Renaissance in Korea. First, she nursed great younger students concentrating dane education in school, despite of the weak circumstances in the local area. Second, she contributed to activate the local culture and art by demonstrating traditional and creative dance in the Jeonbuk area, where major Korean and foreign dance performances were on the stage. Third, she was a Korean creative dance performer who are based on the historic facts causing social, cultural agenda by casting herself into the history sublimating the grief of nation into the art. I, as her disciple and now as dance performer of midium standing reflect her life : She stepped into the world of dance at the early age of her life with the better support from her parents comparing others, and lived a splendid-looking life as a educator, dancer, and volunteer. But I think that she might have a sense of emptiness to call death from her painful fact that she couldn`t have everything at the same time for dance in her life despite of her passion against obstacles.
