본 논문에서는 그레마스의 기호학 중 행동자 모델과 기호학 4각형을 통해 < NEW 아기공룡 둘리 >의 새로운 에피소드들을 분석 대상으로 설정하여 작품 속 기존의 조연 캐릭터들과 새로운 조연 캐릭터들이 어떠한 기능과 의미를 가지는지를 분석하였다. < NEW 아기공룡 둘리 >의 24개 에피소드 중에서 새로운 캐릭터가 등장하는 에피소드인 "쇠귀신", "디스크 악마", "유니콘" 등 세 가지 에피소드의 스토리 구조를 분석한 뒤, 행동자 모델 분석과 기호학적 4각형을 이용한 모델 분석을 진행하였다. 결론적으로 애니메이션 작품 < NEW 아기공룡 둘리 >의 새로운 에피소드에서 기존의 조연 캐릭터들에 비해 새로운 조연 캐릭터들이 더 많은 의미와 기능을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

This study chose new episodes in < New little dinosaur Dooly > as subjects to analyze what their functions and meanings between existing supporting characters and new ones are with `Aktantenmodell` and `Carre Semiotique` of Greimas Semiotic. Of twenty four episodes in < New little dinosaur Dooly >, story structures of three episodes like "The iron ghost", "The disk devil", and "The Unicorn" are analyzed and models are subsequently analyzed with `Aktantenmodell` and `Carre Semiotique` of Greimas Semiotic. In conclusion, it is found that new characters of new episodes in a animation, < New little dinosaur Dooly > have meanings and functions much more than existing characters.
