본 연구는 한국아동패널 5차년도(2012)자료를 대상으로 어머니의 양육행동과 유아의 또래상호작용, 기질 간 경로관계를 분석보고, 어머니의 양육행동이 놀이에서 나타나는 유아의 또래상호작용에 미치는 효과에서 기질이 매개역할을 하는지 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 평균 연령 4세 4개월인 486명 남·여아의 또래 놀이행동척도와 기질척도 점수, 그들의 어머니 자료인 온정과 통제 차원으로 구성된 양육행동 척도 점수를 분석하였다. 온정적 양육과 통제적 양육은 점수에 대해 서로 다른 가정을 하고 있음을 고려하여 두 요인을 구분하여 경로 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 어머니의 온정적 양육은 놀이단절을 직접 설명하지는 않으나 유아의 사회성 기질과 정서성 기질을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 주었다. 또한 어머니의 통제적 양육은 놀이단절과 놀이방해에 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않으나, 사회성 기질과 활동성 기질을 통해 간접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳐 유아의 기질이 통제적 양육과 놀이에서 나타나는 부정적 또래상호작용을 완전 매개하였다. 결론적으로 어머니의 양육 행동이 놀이에서의 유아 또래상호작용에 미치는 경로에서 기질은 매개역할을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the path of the mothers`rearing behavior and the children`s temperament to their interactive peer play. Four-year-old children of the fifth data of Panel Study on Korean Children were participants. Results showed that the warm parenting affected the children`s disconnection through the emotionality and the sociability, but it didn`t affect directly. The warm parenting also affected to the children`s disruption via the sociability. Mothers`controlled parenting was effective in the path to the children`s disconnection through the activity and the disruption through the sociability.
