이 글에서는 로맨스 서사 구조의 변화가 현대인, 특히 현대여성의 인식변화를 읽는 토대가 될 수 있다고 보고 이를 중심으로 현대 여성들의 연애관을 읽고자 하였다. 공영방송인 KBS에 방영된 최근 드라마를 중심으로 하였는데, 공영방송이 도덕 등 사회적 의식의 형태들을 수용하는 데는 가장 변화가 늦으므로 보편적인 실체를 파악하는 데 적합하다고 보았기 때문이다. 미혼과 기혼으로 나누어 남녀이합담을 살핀 결과, 남녀 이합을 이루는 요소 중 일부가 변화하고 있음을 확인하였다. 일단 미혼의 남녀이합담의 경우 신분상승 판타지의 약화를 읽을 수 있었다. 남자주인공을 이루는 주요한 성격소가 재력에서 전문성으로 바뀌고 핸디캡이 현실화 되는 점, 여주인공이 주체적이고 능동적으로 변화한 점뿐 아니라 두 사람이 갈등하는 이유가 외적인 요인에서 내적인 요인, 곧 가치관과 직업관 등으로 현실화된 점 등에서 이러한 인식 변화를 읽을 수 있었다. 기혼의 남녀이합담에서는 도덕관을 중심으로 가정이 해체되고 개인의 행복을 중심으로 재편되는 구조를 통해 새로운 도덕관의 등장과 가정에 대한 인식 변화를 읽을 수 있었다. 남녀 곧 부부 관계가 사회적 관계가 아니라 개인의 행복에 관련된 문제로 판단된 결과라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 현대 여성은 재력이 아니라 서로를 보완하고 상승시켜주는 소통과 배려의 관계를 원하며 그러한 애정을 원한다는 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 주된 시청층의 공감과 관심을 얻으려고 하다 보니 자연히 변화된 흐름이 반영된 결과라고 할 수 있다.

In this writing, the author appreciated `the change of the Romance story structure` as the base of understanding the change of perception of modern people, especially modern female. Also, by focusing on this, the author tried to understand the view of love of modern female. It was turned on the recent drama which was broadcasted on public broadcasting channel, KBS, because the author thought that the public broadcasting is suitable to comprehend the general truth. As a result of researching `his and her divorcing and meeting story` by dividing it into unmarried and married ones, it seemed that some elements that contains his and her divorcing and meeting story` are changing. First, in the case of unmarried ones, it was possible to perceive the decline of the ascent of status fantasy. The change of perception is including not only the change of characteristic element of male main character(wealth into professionalism), female characters being independent and active, but the reason of the conflict, which is actualized by values and occupational view. In married ones`his and her divorcing and meeting story, it was possible to understand the change of realizing family and new moral sense by researching the structure which is focused on the destruction of family. It can be perceived as the result of conjugal relations decided as individual happiness, not social relationships. Therefore, its result, `modern female desires the relation of communication and consideration, which can supply one another, not wealth` could be extracted. It was the very natural change in order to earn the interest and sympathy of major audience.
