This study explained the acts of dance and of communicating with oth-ers through dancing experiences with the concept of “embodied cognition”, a new paradigm emerging in cognitive science and discussed how experi-ences and empathy in the acts of dance could be explained according to the viewpoint. Also, this study argues that “experiences” and “empathy” in dance could be connected to the state of “embodied reflection”, which is the state of ideal unity or combining the body and mind into one in the enactive cognition theory. It was maintained that such a phenomenon could be the empathy of the highest level in dance.
