The aim of this study was to strengthen the understanding of the dispersion state and interfacial behaviors of amimo-functionalized MWCNT in epoxy matrix resins. The surface chemical characteristics of the MWCNT were analyzed by combining FT-IR and XPS. The dispersion state of the MWCNT was characterized by observing the fracture surfaces of fully cured epoxy resins using SEM. The surface free energy of the MWCNT in epoxy matrix resins was analyzed using surface tensionmeter. As a result, it was observed that the chemical functional groups on the MWCNT surfaces affected the dispersion stability of the MWCNT in the epoxy matrix resin system studied.
