본 연구의 목적은 부모의 학대가 청소년의 공격성과 비행경험에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국 아동·청소년패널조사 2차년도 자료중 공격성을 가지고 있거나 일탈이나 비행을 경험한 적이 있다고 응답한 430명의 사례가 분석에 포함되었다. 기술통계 분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0을 사용하였으며, 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형을 분석하기 위해 AMOS 20.0이 사용되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 부모의 학대는 청소년의 공격성 증가에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 부모의 학대는 청소년의 비행경험 증가에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 청소년의 공격성은 비행경험 증가에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 부모의 학대는 청소년의 공격성을 매개하여 비행경험에 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 이를 기반으로 부모의 학대를 경험한 청소년의 공격성과 비행경험과 관련된 논의와 함의점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of parental abuse on adolescent aggression and delinquent behaviors. Data from the second wave of Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey from the National Youth Policy Institute was used and total 430 participants who experienced with adolescent aggression or delinquency behaviors were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0. The results showed (1) the direct effect of parental abuse on adolescent delinquency directly; (2) the direct effect of parental abuse on adolescent aggression directly; (3) the direct effect of adolescent aggression on adolescent delinquency; (4) the indirect effect of parental abuse on adolescent delinquency mediated by adolescent aggression. Based on these results, implications were discussed.
