코헬렛은 “헤벨”이란 단어를 통해 자신의 논지를 분명하게 제시한다. 그러나 때로는 그의 언어가 너무도 심오해 그것을 이해하는데 한계를 경험한다. 그의 언어 뿐 아니라 전도서 전체의 구조 역시도 쉽게 그려지지 않는 구조처럼 보여진다. 그러나 그의 언어사용을 세심하게 살펴보면 중요한 단어의 반복이 계속되는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 같은 단어가 반복되면 될수록 전도서 문학구조는 더욱 더 확연해지는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 코헬렛이 사용하는 반복된 언어들은 일정한 구조를 가지고 있으며, 그 것이 하나의 패턴처럼 그려지는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 독자들은 반복되는 언어를 통해 대칭구조라는 히브리인들이 즐겨 사용하는 그림들을 만들 수 있다. 이런 다양한 그림들은 코헬렛이 말하고자 했던 전도서의 주제 및 핵심들을 이해하는데 중요한 열쇠가 된다.

Qoheleth clearly presents his arguments with the words of “Hebel” “itron” ..etc which are key words in the Ecclesiastes. But sometimes his words are too profound to understand the text of Ecclesiastes. We can not image not only his words but also the total structures of Ecclesiastes. But we can find that is using repeated words. Repeated word form a uniform structure which is called chastic structure. In chiastic structure, it has a central theme. Qoheleth make his picture from macro picture to microscopic picture which are hidden pictures what are saying to the reader reading the text. Qoheleth say that everything is vain under the sun like a nihilistic thinker. But in his testimony there is hidden paradox that is shocking therapy to realize the limitations of the human. Qoheleth commands to live under the sun with gifts which is given from God. And he command to the youth to remember the Creator. A study of key word used on the Ecclesiastes can make understand the unity of Ecclesiastes.
