The purpose of this article is to introduce the possibilities and limits of the humanistic narrative therapy which is different from the narrative therapy performed by psychologists and family therapists. It is the most distinguish feature of the humanistic narrative therapy that clients have the opportunity to tell their stories without any dominance and intervention of the therapists. It is the main role of humanistic narrative therapists to facilitate the story telling by listening, empathy and repetitive questions. The aim of the humanistic narrative therapy is to help clients to know their own problems and to find how to solve the problems during their story-telling. Additionally, the humanistic narrative therapy can be learned by introducing how to apply the narrative interview.
