Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is an uncommon benign vasoproliferative disorder of unclear origin that usually affects middle-aged women. ALHE typically presents with solitary or multiple pink to red-brown colored dome-shaped papules or nodules occurring most frequently on the head and neck. Histopathologically, there are proliferation of large endothelial cells lining vascular spaces, and lymphocytic and eosinophilic inflammatory cell infiltrations in the dermis. The treatment of choice of ALHE is surgical excision, but due to the high rate of recurrence, other less invasive therapeutic modalities such as cryotherapy can be employed. A 74-year-old man presented with 20-year history of multiple various-sized red-brown colored nodules on the left anterior chest. Histopathologic findings from nodule showed vascular proliferation and dilation with lymphocyte and eosinophil infiltration in the dermis. The patient was diagnosed with ALHE and treated with cryotherapy 4 sessions at 3-week intervals. The lesions showed good response. Herein we report a case of ALHE treated with cryotherapy.
