The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of the current curriculum for improving medical communication skills in Korean medical schools. After investigation of the state of education of medical communication in curriculum of each medical school some general problems were identified which could make education of medical communication difficult. The concrete problems of method and content of medical communication curriculum were described. Some suggestions were made to solve the problems.
