도청이 안동으로 이전하게 된 것을 계기로 안동을 경상감영의 본영으로 홍보하고 경상감영과 관련된 다양한 문화관광 콘텐츠의 개발을 통해서 안동의 창조경제적 관광사업을 활성화하는 방안을 살펴본다. 경상감영과 연계된 문화관광 콘텐츠는 경상감사 도임행차, 경상감영의 수문장 교대의식, 경상감영 박물관 등 세 가지를 들 수 있다. 경상감사 도임행차는 경상감영의 본영이라는 인식과 더불어 안동대도호부 수문장 교대의식과 함께 지속적으로 발전시킨다면 새로운 문화관광 상품으로 자리잡게 될 것이다. 수문장 교대의식은 왕궁이나 감영 그리고 도호부 등 행사의 장소나 주체가 모두 다르기 때문에 안동의 경우에는 기존의 안동대도호부 수문장 교대의식에 더하여 수원화성의 왕궁 수문장 교대의식을 접목시키는 것이 관광객들의 눈과 귀를 사로잡는 목적에 타당할 것으로 생각된다. 경상감영박물관은 경상감영과 직·간접적으로 관련된 문화유산의 소재를 파악하고, 조사·정리하여 한곳에 보관·전시할 수 있어야 감영문화자원을 다양하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

As the provincial government building is moved to Andong, the study will look through ways to activate creative economic tourism industry in Andong by promoting Andong as the headquarter of Gyeongsang Gamyeong and developing various cultural tourism contents. There are three contents in connection with Gyeongsang Gamyeong; Gyeongsang governor`s arrival march, the Changing of the Guards Ceremony at Gyeongsang Gamyeong and Gyeongsang Gamyeong Museum. If Andong develop Gyeongsang Governor`s arrival match as well as the Changing the Guards Ceremony, they will be the new cultural tourism contents. As the guards ceremony is different in many places or the host organizations, including the palace, Gamyeong or Protectorate General, etc., it is assumed that Andong would better to connect the ceremony of Andong Protectorate General with the ceremony in the palace of Suwon Hwaseong to attract tourists. Gyeongsang Gamyeong Museum shall locate cultural assets that are directly and indirectly related to Gyeongsang Gamyeong and research and arrange them to exhibit them in one place to make the best use of the cultural resources of the Gamyeong.
